We have developed BioclayTM, a proprietary formulation of superabsorbent nanogranular clay. BioclayTM is then bound to natural fabric for diapers that are entirely biodegradable, except for their adhesive bands, and are designed to decompose in as little as six months.
BioclayTM diapers are hypoallergenic and antibacterial, and are completely free of dyes and harmful chemicals.
BioclayTM particles have enormous surface area relative to volume that allow for leak-proof superabsorbancy. By design, urine and faeces are contained and rapidly desiccated, allowing for odor control and, importantly, reduction of adverse skin reactions and UTIs.

Diagnostic smart diaper
Biodiapers is developing diagnostic absorbents with biosensors for detecting hidden blood, pH, salinity, urea, and glucose. Such diagnostic absorbents will be of particular benefit for the elderly who, often due to weakened immunity, are susceptible to infections and other health conditions.
