Bioclay
We have developed BioclayTM, a proprietary formulation of superabsorbent nanogranular clay. BioclayTM is then bound to natural fabric for diapers that are entirely biodegradable, except for their adhesive bands, and are designed to decompose in as little as six months.
BioclayTM diapers are hypoallergenic and antibacterial, and are completely free of dyes and harmful chemicals.
BioclayTM particles have enormous surface area relative to volume that allow for leak-proof superabsorbancy. By design, urine and faeces are contained and rapidly desiccated, allowing for odor control and, importantly, reduction of adverse skin reactions and UTIs.

Absorbency without the worry of leakage: the tranquillity of being dry and soothing while preventing the possibility of diaper or incontinence-associated dermatitis. Absorbency without irritation problems or allergy, even for the most delicate skins.
Biodiapers’ core technology enables maximum leakage protection through the employment of clay, a naturally occurring material. This unique composition allows drier skin for longer periods and helps to maintain a stable skin pH. This decreases the occurrence of dermatitis, compared to standard products and even those using synthetic superabsorbent polymers.
Furthemore the low environmental impact of Biodiapers products is achieved through the use of fewer plastics and proprietary renewable materials.
Diagnostic smart diaper
Biodiapers is developing diagnostic absorbents with biosensors for detecting hidden blood, pH, salinity, urea, and glucose. Such diagnostic absorbents will be of particular benefit for the elderly who, often due to weakened immunity, are susceptible to infections and other health conditions.
